Day Five: Sir Billi (March of the Movies 2022)

I don’t need to explain anything to you.

All you should do is watch this trailer below:

Did you enjoy that? Yeah? Of course you did; who wouldn’t? We all know quality when we see it.

Wanna know something great? You can watch it right now—for free! Yep, the whole thing’s on YouTube for some reason. You don’t even need to take my word for it. Just have a look-see!

Sir Billi isn’t even particularly long, either. Clocks in at right around 75 minutes, excluding credits. Y’all watch long-winded video essays on the death of niche TV shows longer than that.

To give you a little more of a sneak preview, though: I laughed quite a bit watching this. An absolute gold mine of comedy hijinks. So bizarrely unaware of how corny and unflattering the entire thing is, with a nice dash of female objectification to top it off. Apparently it’s supposed to have a James Bond vibe (Sean Connery is the lead vocal role and executive producer), only it comes off more like Hoodwinked… except way, way worse.

If nothing else, take this humble message away from all this:

hell yeah

Final Score: 1(0)/10
