A final suggestion from a friend to cap off this year’s March of the Movies. It’s been a good one, and despite the circumstances surrounding the world, I’m glad with how it all turned out. Continue reading “Day Thirty-One: Anna Karenina (MotM 2020)”

Day Thirty: Holes (MotM 2020)
It’s late and the head is throbbing. Gonna keep this fairly direct. Continue reading “Day Thirty: Holes (MotM 2020)”
Day Twenty-Nine: Total Recall (MotM 2020)
I’m very close to the end. The vision is clear. Or perhaps… I’m not close at all, and I never really started. What can I truly believe? Schwarzenegger. I can believe Schwarzenegger. Continue reading “Day Twenty-Nine: Total Recall (MotM 2020)”
Day Twenty-Eight: The Wicker Man (MotM 2020)
Anyone well-versed in meme culture will know the significance of my choosing to watch this film. Well, re-watch, specifically; one can probably guess the reason I watched this several years ago, as well. Continue reading “Day Twenty-Eight: The Wicker Man (MotM 2020)”
Day Twenty-Seven: Thoroughbreds (MotM 2020)
Another suggestion made by a friend of mine, Thoroughbreds is actually a film I’ve had my eye on for some time. The stellar ratings, adoration for the two young female leads, and the harrowing premise gives this a “cool” factor that’s somewhat rare, even in the indie scene. Day Twenty-Six: Ratatouille (MotM 2020)
This post will be fairly short, as explaining the formula employed by Pixar in basically all of their films is immensely tiring and overstated by this point. Continue reading “Day Twenty-Six: Ratatouille (MotM 2020)”
Day Twenty-Five: Promare (MotM 2020)
Look, everyone! I watched anime again! What a blast from the past, huh? Continue reading “Day Twenty-Five: Promare (MotM 2020)”
Day Twenty-Four: The Sandlot (MotM 2020)
Ignorance is bliss. I have been cursed with the knowledge that a large majority of films are problematic in some capacity and now I cannot stop seeing it. Combined with my already far-left leanings, it’s become difficult to ascertain my feelings towards this film, which had made up a large portion of my childhood. Continue reading “Day Twenty-Four: The Sandlot (MotM 2020)”
Day Twenty-Three: Charade (MotM 2020)
Animal Crossing has sufficiently taken over my soul. Gonna try and get this out before the day ends. Continue reading “Day Twenty-Three: Charade (MotM 2020)”
Day Twenty-Two: Night at the Museum (MotM 2020)
This got two sequels. I find this fact pretty amusing. Continue reading “Day Twenty-Two: Night at the Museum (MotM 2020)”
