Aharen-san wa Hakarenai Series Review – Episode 3

Hello! I realize I have returned way earlier than I claimed I would. As it turns out, the wait time for delivery for my new laptop battery came way ahead of schedule. My trusty typing machine, now recovered, is ready to churn out more written content on series I am only passively enjoying.

Wasting no time, Aharen-san‘s third episode provides very little different from what the first two episodes already established. Raidou and Aharen are pretty goofy and are just a wee bit too close to one another physically, even if not emotionally. It seems that, for the moment, they are going to ride that very simple premise all the way to the end.

Aharen-san wa Hakarenai Series Review – Episode 2

Have you noticed that I have a certain theme when it comes to picking cover images? I just like when Aharen and Raidou are close. In this case, it’s funnier.

Aharen-san‘s second episode was slightly within the realm of what I expected as a follow-up to the debut. While they did introduce a new character into the mix, she did not take up a majority of the episode’s runtime (thankfully). Nevertheless, the somewhat lackluster aura that transfixed itself to the prior episode is back here in full force.

Aharen-san wa Hakarenai Series Review – Episode 1

Long ago, in the distant time of September of 2013, I started this blog under the name “Criticism & Thoughts.” Throughout the years, I’ve discussed a large number of visually based mediums and topics, but one thing I never did—either out of spite or laziness or both—was dedicate myself to reviewing an ongoing anime episodically as it released… outside of when I collaborated with someone.

That was then and this is now. Completely on a whim, as many of my decisions are, I decided to start my very first episodic reviewing journey with Aharen-san wa Hakarenai, a topic I am also currently reading in manga form. As it is my first time doing this (alone), I have no idea how I will structure these posts or how much detail I will go into. Let’s find out together!
