Unfortunately, I cannot share the same enthusiasm I had for last year’s list in my current mindset. Seeing as I’m still in an unintended semi-hiatus from the blog and the continued pressure of landing an actual full-time job that doesn’t make me want to end myself to secure a proper place in society looming, I don’t feel as chipper these days. Truth be told, I forgot about this until just a few days ago when my mind happened to linger upon the calmer years of KeenGamer’s existence. Nevertheless, sharing my opinion on games (and anything, really) is still a profitable and engaging process for me, so allow me to continue to do so for your viewing pleasure. As I’ve made apparent in my last post ranking football uniforms, I quite like looking at colorful clothing made for sports gladiators. The vivid display of war paint to signify the identity of each team is something I find very inspiring. What better way to show my appreciation for my NFL obsession than to pick out the best colors the league has had to offer? Continue reading “Top 10 NFL Uniforms (2019 Edition)”
When I was publishing every day, I was prideful in trying to varietize my posts so that one topic didn’t seem to take priority. This is no longer the case: I’m in a pretty rigid video game craze right now. Post E3, it’s only strengthened my desire to play and play some more, especially after seeing all the big companies had in store for the future. To release some of this energy, I thought I’d do a Top 10 list of the games I’m most looking forward to post-E3. Continue reading “Top 10 Games I’m Looking Forward to Post-E3 2019”
Ah, memories. I remember quite fondly the days when I would spend hours everyday on Pokémon Ruby in my youth. Even Pokémon games that I would eventually come to find quite uneven (fourth gen and onward) provide a warm feeling of nostalgia when I peek at gameplay footage anywhere around the internet. A few years ago for my blog’s three-year anniversary, I looked at my favorite Pokémon ever (which is slightly outdated; for example, Dunsparce is now my favorite Pokémon). Today, we will strike the balance between light and dark by looking at my least favorite pokémon ever… but not before a few disclaimers. Continue reading “Top 10 Least Favorite Pokémon”

Every hardcore anime fan has some. Things about the anime medium that make them groan, cry, or maybe even wish they were never an anime fan. While these things seem a little extreme, some nuisances are so ingrained within the medium that it begins to add to an overwhelming amount of negativity with each series, limiting what one can enjoy among the vast selection.
We’re not gonna focus on these things today. Instead, I’m gonna nitpick like it’s my career. Continue reading “Top 10 Trivial Anime Pet Peeves”
About five years ago, I wrote a piece on then-current NFL players who most deserved a championship win on their resume based on their on-field performance, but were unlikely to get one due to their team’s success or their current age. Since then, seven of the ten players I included onto the list have retired—only one of them ended up getting a Super Bowl ring. With an ongoing game such as the NFL, revisions are necessary in order to keep lists interesting and current, honoring players for their craft while also instilling a sense of history. Four seasons and seven retired players seem adequate enough to update this list. Continue reading “Top 10 NFL Players Who Have Earned a Championship, but Probably Won’t Get One (2019 Edition)”
